We are committed to learning and teaching so that as many children as possible feel safe in educational spaces and teachers can provide them with timely professional support.

41 practical psychologists and social educators from educational institutions completed the programme "Psychological Safety in Schools: Action Algorithms in Crisis Situations", which included a 45-hour training course entitled "The Educational Process in Conditions of Extreme Challenges: Psychological and Pedagogical Support".

What did our psychologists and social educators learn from this training?

·        They deepened their knowledge and improved their skills in responding effectively to psychological challenges associated with extreme situations.

·         They developed effective methods for establishing and supporting the educational process, especially in shelters and during air raid alerts.

·         They learned effective approaches to supporting the mental health of children and adolescents, their parents, and teaching staff.

The 40 hours of classroom work and an additional 5 hours of independent study of methodological materials flashed by surprisingly quickly!  Most importantly, the training was beneficial for our diligent participants, who received certificates of professional development upon completion.

We would like to remind you that the ‘Long-Term Sustainability Programme’ project is being implemented by the DOCCU NGO with financial support from Education Cannot Wait in cooperation with the international non-governmental organisation Finn Church Aid Ukraine.
