In the Kodyma community of Odesa region, they say: “All children are ours.” And this is not a metaphor, but a guiding principle by which they live and work. The Inclusive Resource Centre of the Kodyma City Council serves the entire child population of the Kodyma district.
The cooperation between the Kodyma and Slobidska communities began when it became clear that inclusion is not only about accessibility, but also about partnership.
This collaboration had lasted three years before the communities were able to formally establish it. They lacked information on how to proceed—until they learned about the DECIDE Project initiative, through which experts assist in drafting inter-municipal cooperation agreements. Thanks to expert guidance, the agreement was finally signed.
