Culinary career guidance hub opened at Vasylkiv Vocational College in autumn 2025

The culinary career guidance hub was created by DECIDE Project in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kyiv Regional State Administration, and Vasylkiv Vocational College.
‘In our region, chefs, pastry chefs and cooks are in high demand. Companies located in our region have placed orders with the Employment Centre,’ says Liudmila Postolenko, principal of the Vasylkiv Professional College.
Today, the Vasylkiv City Council is introducing teenagers from the Vasylkiv community to various professions at the hub for teenagers. The council is also planning to retrain school chefs from across the Kyiv region. Within a month of its opening, more than 150 pupils and around 100 students from the region attended career guidance events at the brand-new hub!
Our hub already has five business residents: Auchan Hypermarket Ukraine LLC, Silpo-Food LLC, Kyiv BCC LLC, Foodservice Municipal Enterprise, and Ventilation Systems LLC.
