The key events in our educational centres in the Zaporizhzhia region during May were part of the Multi-Year Resilience Programme (MYRP).

Zaporizhzhia community

In the Zaporizhzhia community, children:

- received psychological support;

- worked on correcting dyscalculia with the help of kinesthetic exercises;

- read interesting books and watched educational cartoons, and watched videos about safety in the film club;

- created a branch of viburnum from plasticine and talked about the symbols of Ukraine.

Representatives of the national police also conducted classes on psychological support and familiarised the children with the rules of road safety and how to behave in various situations.

Here, students learned, played and socialised.

·        Training in law, first aid and mine safety provides extremely important knowledge and skills, especially in the current conditions.

·        Preparation for the NMT in mathematics is important for future graduates. Finger art therapy, creativity, and dancing added variety and contributed to emotional relief and development.

·        There was also a chess tournament which even the teachers joined! This is a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to enjoy intellectual leisure activities together and exchange experiences.

We would like to remind you that the ‘Long-Term Sustainability Programme’ project is being implemented by the DOCCU NGO with financial support from Education Cannot Wait in cooperation with the international non-governmental organisation Finn Church Aid Ukraine.
