Every day, the experts from the DECIDE Project provide advisory support to communities on issues related to reform of senior specialised education.

Consultative meetings have already been held in 20 regions of Ukraine. Almost 5,600 representatives from over 300 communities participated in them. Experts personally visited 143 communities and held almost 160 online consultations.

The largest number of consultations were held in the Odesa, Chernivtsi, Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions — and this is just the beginning!

The focus of consultations in communities is primarily on providing practical assistance. Experts familiarise participants with important changes in education and provide specific advice on transforming the school network, planning senior specialised schools and organising student transportation and resource management. During the meetings, communities are shown examples of successful management decisions made by other communities. These consultations help communities to avoid mistakes and find solutions that meet their specific local needs and capabilities.

For example, the problem of a shortage of buses to transport high school students was discussed in the Chernivtsi region, as was the joint financing of a lyceum by several communities. In the Poltava region, meanwhile, communities received recommendations on choosing educational profiles that take the local labour market into account. These specific cases make the consultations as practical and useful as possible for management decision-making.

If you represent a community and would like to receive practical expert advice, please submit your request here.

A team of experts will visit your community, answer your questions professionally, and help you develop effective solutions tailored to your needs.

The DECIDE project is implemented by NGO DOCCU and PHZH International Projects in Education with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine.
