What was the first month of summer like for the Zaporizhzhia community?
The two summer camp sessions were packed with fun activities that made the time fly by!
The camps featured a variety of creative activities, art therapy, and physical activities. The film and reading clubs also brought the children together. Psychological support and classes to make up for educational losses were also available. Each session was filled with colour and life.
June was equally vibrant in the Shyroke community.
For example, we saw the aurora borealis! We created it ourselves in our creative classes! We also 'tasted' berries, fruits and vegetables in our English lessons.
We took a virtual walk through the original settlements in Ukraine. The children also loved sand therapy.

We would like to remind you that the ‘Long-Term Sustainability Programme’ project is being implemented by the DOCCU NGO with financial support from Education Cannot Wait in cooperation with the international non-governmental organisation Finn Church Aid Ukraine. #MYRPUA
