At DECIDE Summer Clubs 2026 «We are at home – in Ukraine», every child should feel part of a large, friendly community where everyone is equal and valued!
This summer, DECIDE ran a separate selection process to support initiatives for internally displaced children and Teenagers from Luhansk region, as the security situation has prevented their communities from organising summer clubs for them in the usual way.
As previously reported, based on the results of the selection process, grant support was awarded to:
NGO Prostir Foundation;
Arms of Mercy Charitable Fund.
They organised summer activities for children and teenagers from Luhansk region. The events were held in Kyiv and Chernivtsi.
Young dreamers met, made friends, chatted, worked in teams, and took part in creative, active, and career guidance activities.
For many of them, such meetings mean far more than just summer leisure activities. They offer an opportunity to feel part of a friendly community once again – a community where they are listened to, supported and where they can be themselves.
To ensure that every day at the clubs is filled with engaging activities, the communities were provided with the necessary materials and equipment, and DECIDE Project conducted training sessions for educators.
We are committed to ensuring that, regardless of where children from Luhansk region are today, they have a space for development, socialising, and new discoveries. A space where they can dream, make plans for the future, and create warm summer memories.
The DECIDE project is implemented by NGO DOCCU and PHZH International Projects in Education with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine.
