Knowledge and well-practised skills in applying it can save lives. And this is not just a figure of speech — it’s a proven fact. That’s exactly why our educators continue to actively learn the rules of providing first aid.
This week, first aid training sessions took place in Sumy (Nedryhailivska community), Poltava (Hrebinkivska community), Odesa (Bessarabia and Katlabuzka settlement communities), and Zaporizhzhia (Zaporizka community) regions.
The teachers trained and practised how to manage critical bleeding, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), respond to injuries and emergencies, and learned the legal aspects of providing pre-medical care.
These training sessions are part of the “ Safety in Shelters” education programme for school staff, conducted within the framework of the “Multi-Year Resilience Programme.”
We would like to remind you that the ‘Long-Term Sustainability Programme’ project is being implemented by the DOCCU NGO with financial support from Education Cannot Wait in cooperation with the international non-governmental organisation Finn Church Aid Ukraine.
